Helpful Facts:
"The stream is interrupted and constantly buffering."
Then perhaps you need to change your media player's buffering setting. You will probably find
this setting under - Tools > Options > Performance > Network Buffering. Try setting the buffer time
to 20 or 25 seconds. It will take a bit longer for the initial connection, but is should help to reduce
the number of dropouts due to "buffering".
"My Macintosh doesn't open the page."
The necessary software to stream WHVT is not on a Mac computer when it comes from the factory.
What can be done is to download a free version of Windows Media Player for Macintosh (Apple)
computers. This file is compressed so you will also need to get a program to "decompress" or "unzip"
the Windows media player .dmg files. One such unzipping program called Stuffit is available for a
free trial at http://my.smithmicro.com. Once this is downloaded and installed you will be able to
download and install Windows Media Player 9 for Mac. When finished with the download of Windows
Media Player 9 you will be able to unzip the folder with your Stuffit Expander and load the program.
You will then have all of the software components necessary to listen to the sounds of "Clean Air"
on the internet!
This streaming service is made possible by the many gifts of WHVT supporters. Many
listeners become part of the Gideon's 300 club (giving $25 a month totaling $300 for
year). To find out more about helping the ministry of WHVT through the Gideon's 300
